Briann is an Outer Banks native and seasoned real estate professional with 18 years of experience as a licensed broker. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Textile Design and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she began her career in the mortgage industry, specializing in FHA, VA, and conventional loans. She later transitioned into construction and development marketing, where she also obtained her real estate license.

Briann went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University before joining Twiddy & Company, where she advanced from Guest Services to Owner Services and ultimately into a role bridging Owner Services and Marketing. She managed large-scale projects including owner communications and major marketing publications. After several years teaching at Kitty Hawk Elementary School to give back to the local community, Briann returned to Twiddy & Company’s Sales Department in 2023.

Having lived throughout Nags Head, Wanchese, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, and Corolla, Briann offers comprehensive knowledge of every area covered by the local MLS. Her background in mortgage lending, marketing, property management, and education gives her a unique perspective and a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and client relationships. Outside of real estate, she volunteers with A Room at the Inn and Ruthie’s Kitchen, and enjoys time at the beach, boating, riding horses, and being with family and friends.
